I have planted the seeds in my mind
I’m waiting for the sunflowers to rise
So they may bloom inside my heart
And guide me towards the biggest star
Days of agony gone past by
Years in abyss here no more
A simple hope growing in me
To rekindle the desires that once blew off
I tend it so tenderly, this blossom of hope
This tiny beacon that helps me cope
Water it every morn and eve
With life blood, the drops that makes me live
Amidst all tough and weary times
This elegant flower would bloom in grace
Spreading its shine and guiding me through
Into a future of brilliant hue.
